Kinesis Project dance theatre

Kinesis Project dance theatre is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating large-scale, site-specific, and unexpectedly intimate dance performances.

“Melissa Riker explores ideas about how vulnerability exists both in people and in structures; it comes to life within an immersive environment of movement and whispers.”
— Gia Kourlas, The New York Times
“Riker’s use of space engages the audience from all angles, keeping the dancers (and the audience) traveling up and down the pier. The audience kept growing as dancers filled more and more space on the waterfront, roping in additional bystanders.”
— Johanna Berliner, Seattle Dances
